Tina Hodgdon
Tina Hodgdon, known to millions online as BipolarBetty (@bipolarbetty on TikTok), is a survivor, storyteller, and unapologetically bold advocate for self-acceptance.
In 2014, Tina was diagnosed with stage 2 nasal cancer — a rare and aggressive illness that forever changed the course of her life. To save her life, doctors performed a total rhinectomy, removing her nose entirely. For many, such a loss would mean retreating from the world, but Tina chose the opposite path. She decided to share her journey openly, embracing her new appearance and proving that beauty is far more than skin deep.
Over the years, Tina has spoken candidly about living without a nose, the challenges of cancer recovery, and her decision to live confidently without hiding behind a prosthetic. Her story has resonated globally, inspiring people to face their own battles — whether physical, emotional, or mental — with the same unapologetic courage.
Beyond her cancer journey, Tina is also open about living with bipolar disorder, adding another layer to her advocacy. Her TikTok content mixes humor, raw honesty, and uplifting messages, creating a community built on resilience and mutual support.
When she’s not creating videos or connecting with her followers, Tina enjoys adventures with her husband, Chris, and embraces life with a mix of grit, grace, and a little sass.
Her motto: “I lost my nose, not my fighting spirit.”
